Consular Section

The Consular Section is ready to provide a variety of services to American citizens and to citizens of other countries.  The Consular Section is responsible for matters such as American Citizen Services and non-immigrant and immigrant visa requests.The Consular Section is located on the first floor of the American Embassy at 129 Dr. Sophie Redmondstraat, Paramaribo, Suriname.The Consular section may be reached by calling 472-900. Hours of Operation

American Citizen Services: Monday and Wednesday, 1:30pm-3:30pm

Non-Immigrant Visas: Monday,Tuesday and Thursday, starting August 4, 2008, by appointment only. 

Immigrant Visas: by appointment only Office Hours: Monday through Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm
